The best way to describe this incredible car is to go back and start with the gentleman who purchased the car in 1979. Bob Brandel started the body-off restoration as soon as it was purchased and began a lengthy restoration by himself, which took approximately 5-6 years. As seen by the photos he spared no expense to perfect an incredible and meticulous restoration. What is amazing, is the car has been owned by several collectors since its mid 80's restoration and still, today looks like it was just completed. The 442 was owned from 2005 to 2016 by well-known car collecter Ray Skillman and displayed in his museum for 11 years. The car is now owned by a personal friend of mine and is kept amongst his collection of cars in a climate-controlled building.
